 | Alors que Herzeleid devient double disque d'or (vendu à plus de 450 000 exemplaires), le second album Sehnsucht sort le 22 août 1997 avec 6 pochettes différentes, chacune étant le portrait d'un des membres du groupe pris par le peintre/photographe autrichien Gottfrid Helnwein. L'album est déjà disque de platine en Allemagne avant même d'être sorti. Après de nombreux concerts à travers l'europe, Rammstein effectue ses premiers concerts aux USA comme première partie de KMFDM en décembre 1997. En avril/mai 98, c'est leur première propre tournée aux USA avec seulement 5 dates. |
